And they were basically saying they had to balance it out for all their fans to be happy, because if there was too much Delena the Stelena fans would be unhappy etc. WTF? I’m hoping the interviewer misquoted the entire thing or something because really, what are they going to do? Have Stefan and Damon fighting over Elena for two more seasons? It’s already irritating everyone, sure some shippers will be upset if their ship doesn’t ‘win’ but to be honest how much longer can we put up with an overused tug of war? Especially if they kill off the original family sooner or later.

But hey, that’s just IMO. Been stewing on it for a few days since I read it.
